Artist's Comments
Before we get to the end of our story arc for Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa, we will be reprinting Jetta: Tales of the Toshigawa - Crucible, which highlights one of the first adventures of Jetta©, Turra©, Kim© and the rest of the Toshigawa crew. This book picks up a night before our first graphic novel, Jetta: Last Chances. Here is a little about the story.
JETTA: TALES OF THE TOSHIGAWA - CRUCIBLE A WEAPON IS FORGED! Prophesy says Shianndrea Toshigawa (aka Jetta) of the Toshigawa clan is the Chosen One, the one who will protect the earth from the impending invasion of the demon army of the Knave. But, before she can save the world, she has to save herself! She has to prove herself to one of Japan’s most deadliest wariors, The killer Taki Sato. The book will be 36 pages, 6.63" x 10.25", saddle-stitch binding, in full color! The new release is what we like to call the directors cut. This will put back a lot of the shots that we originally took out with new artwork by yours truly. As well, we will be changing and updating some of the panels to give this important book its rightful place in the sun. Here we have the pencils for one of the most important pages in the book. Why is Jetta so worried? What happened to Turra? The only way you can find out is by picking the book up when it comes out next spring! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
